Base radio.

For base station use, you can use a mobile CB or hand-held with a special CB power supply, but there are also special base CBs available.
A base station CB has the benefit of having a built in power supply, allowing it to be plugged direct into the mains supply. Some also allow for connection to a 12v source, but they can be rather large for car use.
Although you still only need the minimum controls, you may wish to have a radio with more controls.
